Arrival

The pictures online don’t do it justice! After a long afternoon in the Magic Kingdom, we arrive at our vacation rental through Orlando Insider Vacations and are blown away. Serendipity is a beautiful 5 bedroom / 4 bathroom home in the Orlando area. Located only 6 miles away, Disney World is less than a 15 minute drive. Prior to arrival, we received detailed information regarding the location, door codes, and Covid-19 preparations and procedures. The instructions were easy to understand and we as we enter the house.

The House

As we enter the home, we notice the first King bedroom. This bedroom is located at the front of the home and has a full bathroom really close. There are hair dryers in each of the bathrooms, which is really nice when you have long curly hair, right Karen? The room is tastefully decorated and serves us well during our stay! The large television was perfect for watching a movie after a long day of fun in Orlando.

   

We pass the well stocked laundry room on our way to the large kitchen. The Kitchen is very well equipped. It includes a Keurig , standard coffee pot, crock pot, Ninja blender, and chef knives.Every need imaginable has been thought of by the owners. The cleaning supplies, snacks, cold waters, and Covid-19 cleaning description are very appreciated. There are multiple sets of dinner wear and drink wear. They have even thought to include plastic wear for use while on the patio and at the pool. Adjacent to the kitchen, the breakfast area provides ample seating along with a computer and printer with instructions for use. The computer area also houses a guidebook full of information along with a notebook of restaurant menus.

 

       

We are amazed at how well laid out his home looks and feels. The dining and living areas are very open and has seating for a large family or large group. The place setting in the dining room is Disney themed and very cute! The over-sized sectional in the living are is very comfortable and is a refuge at the end of the day! Watching television and movies in this area is great. We also enjoyed playing family games in this area.

           

The master bedroom and en-suite bathroom are comfortable and full of storage.We sleep like royalty on the luxurious linens and great mattress! There are two charging stations in the bedroom with both electrical and USB options. The rainfall shower is wonderful. As a taller person, Corey enjoys a shower that he can stand beneath! The double sinks served us well and Karen had plenty of room for products! The patio and pool can be accessed through a door in the bathroom.

       

The second master bathroom is on the opposite side of the house and also has access to the patio and pool area. This bedroom also features a king bed and en-suite bathroom. Chloe slept well in this room and enjoyed watching movies selected from the house collection as she relaxed. The decor is neat and tasteful wile also being really comfortable.

       

The Nemo and Shrek bedrooms will be the highlight of the trip if you have small children. The are each contain 2 twin beds, dresser, and closet. There is a kid themed bathroom in the middle for the children to share. Imagining our children younger and the possibility of them seeing these rooms make me smile.

                                                                          

                                                                                                               

Much like the interior, the patio and pool area are well laid out, functional, and very relaxing. There is an abundance of outdoor furniture in both areas and the huge television completes the patio very well. The pool is big enough for everyone to enjoy. The hot tub is big enough for several people to enjoy at the same time. Relaxing in the pool with a drink after a long day is a highlight of the trip! The lighting in and around the pool at night is very calming. The house includes pool floats and life vests for little ones. There is a gas grill and more outdoor furniture just outside the screened in pool area!

The FUN!!!

       

As if that is not enough, the GAME ROOM has something for everyone. There are two video game systems and at least 50 games for the gamer in the family. For the more traditional gamers, like us, there are pool / billiards, air hockey, and foosball / table soccer to facilitate lively competitions! I accept Chloe’s challenge to play pool, the result is 9 games to 0. Guess who won! The game room also serves as the storage area for most anything that a parent of babies might need. There is a cabinet full of toys, 2 strollers, a crib, and a high chair. There is a separate air conditioner for this area of the house, but it works really well and is easy to use.

               

 

           

EVERYTHING!

This vacation home has it all! This house is so much better than a hotel room. We made this choice with Covid-19 in mind. Being surrounded by family only, having confidence in the pre-cleaning process, and the ability to clean ourselves makes this the best choice for our family.Serendipity is located within 1.5 miles of grocery stores and restaurants. There are unlimited choices for delivery, carry-out, and even dining in. The 5G internet is very reliable and fast. Having a private pool may eliminate hotels from consideration during pool weather. The home includes areas of entertainment for all members of the family and plenty of space to spread out. The option to cook, leads to healthier eating while on vacation and we chose to do so, once or twice. As you can see below, there is even a Tesla Charger!
